 Scott Humfeld is an Arizonan who has lived on the upper
Amazon River in Peru for the last 14 years. A psychiatric nurse by
training he established a free clinic in the small Amazon village of
Pevas and built a tourist lodge there as well. He now lives in Iquitos,
Peru and works for the eco-tour operator GreenTracks. He is working on a
book of his experiences. He is a charter member of the Bardbarian
