 Jean Ann Wertz’s play,
Pot of Soup or the
Tragedy of the Commons was semi-finalist in Fire Rose
Productions’ 4th Annual Ten-Minute Play Festival. “Echoes of Green” is
the first part of
White Ashes, a cross-genre collection that includes a
Noh-inspired play about the ashes of D.H. Lawrence. She was formerly a
journalist, web editor, theatrical producer and stage manager. Jean has
an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Goddard College in Plainfield,
Vermont. She has taught creative writing at the Friends of the Library
Bookstore and at the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center near her home in
Meriden, Connecticut.
