 Maria Williams-Russell is currently an M.F.A. in poetry
candidate at Goddard College in Vermont where she is working on a book
length collection of poems exploring the themes of adoption, travel, and
belonging. She received her B.A.L. from Eugene Lang College of the New School
for Social Research with a concentration in creative writing. Maria is
also the content editor for an online visual arts collective and a
freelance web designer. She lives in Greenfield, Massachusetts, with her
