Karen A. Terrey has an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College. She teaches creative writing workshops in Truckee, CA and English at Sierra Nevada College. Her poetry explores concepts of place and borders of community.  Some of her poems can be read in Sierra Nevada Review, Pitkin Review, Moonshine Ink, and Rhino.  She is the recipient of a 2009 Sierra Arts Council Fellowship and the John Woods Scholarship from Western Michigan University Prague Summer Program.  She blogs at www.karenaterrey.blogspot.com.
