Kelly A. Varner

 

Kelly A. Varner is a writer, photographer and educator who lives in the southeastern corner of Virginia with her husband and their two feline sons. Her writing and photography has appeared in several journals and newsletters. She was formerly a substitute high school teacher, video editor and teleprompter operator. When she's not writing or taking photos, you can find her trying to con motorcycle rides from her spouse. Kelly holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Goddard College. She has taught creative writing and philosophy at the Unitarian Universalist Church, the University of Hawaii’s Outreach College and the Women’s County Correctional Center on the island of O’ahu in Hawaii.
