Jean
writes fiction, drama and poetry. She has studied Noh theatre in Japan
and has an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College. Her short
fiction, "Echoes of Green," appeared in the premier issue of Quay.
Her play, "Pot of Soup or the Tragedy of the Commons," was a
semi-finalist in Fire Rose Productions' 4th Annual Ten-Minute Play
Festival. She has also completed "White Ashes," a Noh-inspired play
about the remains of D. H. Lawrence. Her work has appeared in the
Pine Island Journal of New England Poetry, Well Versed Friends, Poetry
for Conservation and Pitkin Review. Her previous endeavors
have included writing and editing for newspapers, magazines and web
sites. Jean has also been employed as a theatrical producer, stage
manager and professional camper. She makes her home in Meriden, CT,
where she sometimes teaches creative writing. |
